Words from My Mind: In The End…It’s Worth It

This my friends in the cake I baked and my partner Blossom decorated with our standard rosette design. We’re normally closed on Mondays but an end of day walk in this past Saturday was the final addition to a already overbooked weekend. We added this order of course just because we are nice like that and I’m so glad we did. A teary eyed birthday girl exclaimed upon pick up afternoon “This is the most beautiful cake I’ve ever eaten” her tears brought teats to my eyes which of course is not too difficult especially when I’m fatigued and exhausted. Such a wonderful expression makes all the pain, tiredness, frustration, worry, exhilaration and happiness that comes with living out your dreams every day worth it. Moments like that are what make everything worth it in the end. And that’s why we do what we do  :)
