In the morning, we took a walk to town, did grocery shopping, played with Lego and cut up toy cakes in the craft stores before we jogged back home. Angel squeals with delight whenever we run on the streets.
In the afternoon, we went over to a friend's house and learnt to make our first bread - Marzipan rolls.
These turned out to be really soft, sweet and delicious! Even Angel, who usually only eats white bread, couldn't stop eating them before and after dinner.
The best part was she helped to spread the raisins onto the dough and played an "important" role in the baking process. It was the first time she became a kitchen helper and she proudly announced "Angel make bread!"
I guess we should do this at home every other weekend instead of playing Play-doh. It's fun, easy, and best of all we will have many yummy breads for breakfast and tea. Thanks FT yiyi!
