Grind – they are at Westfield Stratford City outside Waitrose and also have branches in Putney & Battersea.
Also my local… Loafing at 79 Lauriston Road, Hackney E9, corner of Victoria Park Road. They also have a great bakery for cakes & bread.
Loafing is open Monday to Friday from 7.30a.m, on Saturday from 8.00a.m and on Sunday from 9.00a.m. It closes everyday at 6.00p.m."

Adam adds… And tea? Well here’s another snippet from George Orwell’s essay A Nice Cup of Tea (see earlier post)…
"Tea should be made in small quantities — that is, in a teapot. Tea out of an urn is always tasteless, while army tea, made in a cauldron, tastes of grease and whitewash. The teapot should be made of china or earthenware. Silver or Britanniaware teapots produce inferior tea and enamel pots are worse; though curiously enough apewter teapot (a rarity nowadays) is not so bad."
