Sandro Knit Beanie at Bloomingdales (Similar here); Trouve Blazer at Nordstrom; American Apparel Tri-blend V-Neck; JBrand Jeans; Gold Belt, JCrew; Dolce Vita booties from Urban Outfitters.My year-long hunt for the perfect blazer has finally come to an end, thanks to a frantic, almost-closing-time, got-locked-in-the-store marathon shopping spree at Nordstrom, where I spotted this gorgeous piece from their in-house brand, Trouve. I love the idea of subtly turning fashion on it's head, which is what this blazer oh-so-gently does: A non-traditional stand collar gives it a really fresh, updated, and un-buttoned up look, making a blazer seem like the only natural accompaniment to a slouchy tee and jeans.
In the spirit of my two shopping rules (#1: Constant Vigilance, #2: European tailoring) I also spotted this Sandro beanie on my way out of Bloomingdales and knew I had to have it. The color!! The shape!! Is anyone else getting #SteveZisouRealness from this?
I'm glad I snatched it up - an online search revealed that Sandro hats are actually pretty hard to come by!
