Willy's Wiggly Web Game Review

Willy’s Wiggly Web Game Review

The dead of winter in Indiana is not exactly made for outside play–so that’s when we break out board games!

We love a good game and Willy’s Wiggly Web by Peaceable Kingdom has got to be our 3 year old’s favorite game of all time.

Willy’s Wiggly Web Game Review

Some of you already know that little Indiana and family play board games on a regular basis. We make friends play them with us. We play alone. Really, we love them!

But what can be really challenging is finding something for our three year old, otherwise known as Kid#2,  that he can play without getting frustrated–and that will keep his attention.

What three year old doesn’t like scissors and cutting paper? None that I know! Enter Willy’s Wiggly Web.

For this game, you lay the “web” (an almost honey-combed sort of paper that feels much like a coffee filter) across six supports. This forms the web.

Next, place the insects, from a smiling bumblebee to a friendly fly, onto the web. These are really cute, colorful, and study heavy-duty cardboard cut-outs.

Set Willy, the spider, on the web as well. As you know, little ones have a really hard time losing but this game is played with a common goal: don’t let Willy the Spider fall out of the web!

Instead, you take turns and work together to free the insects by carefully snipping pieces of the web with safety scissors.

Willy’s Wiggly Web Game Review

This great children’s board game includes three levels so kids from 3-6 (and even seven) can easily play together.

Our three year old plays Willy’s Wiggly Web with his brother. He plays it alone. He plays it almost every single day! He does have very good scissors skills and this only reinforces what we’ve already covered. How awesome is that?

I received Willy’s Wiggly Web game in exchange for an honest review. Opinions remain mine and mine alone.
