via twitter @gwenstefaniCountry music is big on family and community, it’s one of the things we love most about it. So we have to wonder if one of the most famous relationships in the country music world will be on display this August when Boots & Hearts rolls into Burl’s Creek.
“Officially” dating since early November 2015, and it looks like things are going well so far in the honeymoon stage of their relationship… so we’re thinking, maybe Gwen Stefani will make the trip to Oro with Blake Shelton when he headlines the 2016 festival.
It sure would be a big statement that they are happy together – and it would be awesome if the No Doubt singer came on stage to sing with the country superstar. Hell, maybe they’ll have a new country duet to sing together for the 45,000 people in attendance at this year’s festival. There’s lots of time for that to happen!
Note: If the 2 are going to sing together it has to be a country song, there’s just no way that Blake’s voice is going to get play on a pop song. Let’s be realistic.
This isn’t something that’s likely to be announced any time between now and August 4th… and even while we’re all gathered around the main stage there won’t be anything more than rumours and whispers to let us know if the Hollaback Girl hitmaker is in the backstage area waiting to come on stage, or simply cheering on her 9-time CMA Award winning boyfriend.
We don’t know if Gwen Stefani will be at Boots & Hearts 2016, but right now it’s really fun to think about…
