Why I'd Rather Be Single

I enjoy being single, it's what I do best. I think people should celebrate it more! But when you start to see your friends getting into their own relationships, you start to wonder; "should I be in one too?"
There's nothing too appealing about a relationship to me. From my observations, everyone seems miserable;

• Look at your parents...yeah they may still be together, but they hate being in the same room for more than 20 minutes. 
• Check out the divorce rate in the country!
• Or basically anyone whose been dating for more than six months. 

Why do I want to be apart of that?
And then, I have to start considering the OTHER persons feelings?...Seriously?...that sounds awful. No thank you. I love being able to do whatever I want, whenever I want, with no regard.
Nevertheless, through the pressures of society, and succumbing to the notion of being in a relationship by my friends; I embarrassingly and reluctantly joined an online dating website. Creating some very interesting experiences, correspondences, and awful encounters; reinforcing why I'd rather be single.  All chronicaled in this wonderful blog. Enjoy!
