Who Did You Give to on Giving Tuesday?

Posted on the 29 November 2012 by Beckawall

This year will be my first paying and filling what I am calling “big-kid” tax returns because I am extremely mature like that. The best part of that is the realization that giving to your favorite charities and causes is actually an AWESOME financial decision, because tax deductions and what-not. Woo-hoo!

So yesterday, I spent most of my birthday money on giving to things I care about and it felt awesome. Here’s my final list. Who did you give to? (Did you forget it was Giving Tuesday? NO WORRIES, Giving Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/every single freakin’ day of the year is also a thing, so GO DO IT.)

The White House Project
Do Something
Girls Write Now
Human Rights Campaign
Kiva
The Geena Davis Institute

Super Feminist. Whoops.

(Also,  you should consider donating to the National Women’s Law Center because I hear some great people work there.)
