Preparing For The Inevitable!
In a previous post Patriot Angel commented:
Something needs to be done. I think it’s time for all militia to gather and begin!
That got me to thinking, how exactly would we organize our forces. Would we organize by city, state, or by section of the country such as southeast, midwest, etc. Organization will be the key to a successful campaign and ultimately…victory!
The big question is, how much of the military would join us in the fight and how many would side with the enemy. Veterans with combat experience and experience in military tactics, logistics and strategy would need to be recruited to the cause.
Along with the recruitment of men and women with this experience, equipment(firearms, ammunition, weapons of any type, fuel and other logistical supplies), food, water and various other essentials will need to be gathered, inventoried and distributed to those involved and committed to the fight, whether combatants or support personnel. Everyone must be willing to do their part no matter how big or small
Training will be essential in tactics and guerilla warfare and firearms proficiency. Snipers would be critical to our success, snipers demoralize the enemy while inflicting heavy casualties. We will not be able to fight in a conventional manner, guerilla tactics will need to be used, it will not be pretty and to some on our side it will not seem humane or just.
We will have to keep in mind who our enemy is, a government who has violated its oath, our trust and our laws, a government that must be overthrown if our country is to survive intact. It will be fight and a struggle that no sane person would look forward to, but it will be a necessary fight to preserve the vision of our forefathers.
