It’s been a long wait for another Grand Slam after the Australian Open but the French Open is finally here and OLBG.com is on the look out for knowledgeable tennis tipsters. OLBG.com normally gives away £300 each month in cash prizes plus £50 in free bets to tennis tipsters in the OLBG Tipping Competition but there is an extra £200 available currently in the French Open event competition giving extra incentives to anyone making a tip. There are already plenty of Tennis Betting Tips and here is a flavor of what most are betting on over the next couple of weeks:

It seems not many can see past Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic at Roland Garros, together they’ve amassed almost 95% of tips in the OLBG Tipping Competition and 80% of those have come just for Nadal who is the confident pick of OLBG member ‘uls2000’ at 8/11:

“He’s been completely dominant through the 2013 clay court season, extending his winning record over Federer with a crushing win in the Rome Masters final, and a phenomenal record at Roland Garros is making Nadal the clear favorite. Only fitness and Djokovic on the very top of his game can stop Nadal winning an eighth French Open.”

In the women’s French Open Serena Williams isn’t quite as popular with 77.8% of tips but that is more than made up for by the fact that she’s a nicer price than Nadal at 11/8. That sort of price isn’t to be missed out on according to OLBG ‘kylerob’ who has put up some great reasoning with his tip:

”Since her defeat to eventual finalist Stosur in French Open 2010, Williams went on a 27-1 run on clay. Out of those 27 wins she has only dropped 4 sets, destroying fellow frontrunners Azarenka and Sharapova (twice), neither of whom could take more than 5 games from her.

The only defeat in that run was a freak 1st round exit here last year against lowly ranked Razzano, but that defeat came right after Serena withdrew from a match against Li Na due to back trouble. Serena will be desperate to make amends for last year and keen to add another French Open to her CV, as she has amazingly, only ever won it once (2002).”
