I've been dwelling on this topic for a while now because I have had to go through a lot of tough times in my most recent past. From finding out I had lost so much integrity by not 'taking heed' to dealing with health challenges, life challenges, love challenges etc. This is not an easy thing for me to open up about believe me. The good thing is in all these things, there is a lesson to be learned.
In the last months, I've learnt that no matter what you go through the most important thing you've got is your spirituality. When the devil attacks your spirituality then there is a serious matter. Remember the story of job, when all the evil befell him there was still no reference to his life until he got advised to curse God and die. Until that point, there was no mention of him loosing his life. The only reason he was alive at that time was because God had spared him.
So when you go through tough times and yet you are still motivated to maintain a relationship with God just rejoice because that situation will not last your roots are in the ground and you will sprout again. Its like the bible says though a tree be cut down it shall grow again so long hits roots are still fastened to the ground. The only guarantee you have of getting out of that hellish situation is the fact that your roots are still fastened in God.
Do not let your tough times make you turn your back on God, he created you and he alone knows how to fix you and you will be better than new. Maintain that relationship with him, it's not like it's easy but we don't quit do we? We keep trying till we overcome. This is a call to to those of us who are broken, who need mending let's all stop by the porters house, presenting the fragments of our broken hearts and we all shall overcome rejoicing when its all over.
