Wheat Sponge Cake

Wheat Sponge CakeWheat Cake a health concious cake made with 100% whole wheat flour. Kids love cakes and this is a healthier version for them to have :). This cake is toddler approved too :).
Ingredients:
Wheat flour- 3 cups
Eggs- 3
Milk- 1 cup
Granulated White Sugar- 1 cup
Baking Powder- 2 tsp
Vanilla Essence- 1 tsp
Vegetable Oil- 1 cup

Method:
Wheat Sponge CakePlace oil, sugar, baking soda and vanilla essence in a deep wide bowl and beat well with a hand mixer for 3 minutes at high speed.
Add eggs and beat well for 3 minutes at high speed.
Alternatively add milk and wheat flour and mix to make a smooth lump free batter.
Wheat Sponge CakePre heat oven to 180°C.
Grease a 9 inch pan and line it with parchment paper.
Grease 7 cups with butter or oil.
Pour batter to the pan and to 7 cup cakes.
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes. The skewer will come out clean when inserted in the centra of the cake.
Cup cakes get baked at 9 minutes.
Remove them and let them cool.
Enjoy.
Yield: 1 9inch cake and 7 cup cakes.
