what-to-wear-to-a-bavarian-brunch
Forgo the usual egg and corn beef skillet and instead go somewhere a little more interesting for brunch. Trade in your sunnysides for gouda brauwurst and enjoy the ambiance of a sunny but dusty room, decorated with persian rugs and saphire blue leather couches. While you order the first round of mimosas, look cute but comfortable in a vintage linen dress, dressed up with a tapestry-like cotton jacket. Keep the bohemian feel going with a wide rimmed floppy hat, but then anchor the look down with a pair of thick flatforms. Now grab the waiter and order a round of coffee while you wait for your food!

What-to-wear-to-a-night-market
It seems like everything is so much more fun at night, including markets. Put on your favorite vintage denim skirt and head down to the neighborhood's night market, where you can peruse classic records, order pints of craft beers from the local bars, and play foosball one-handed as you juggle said beer. To give your denim skirt some panache, pair it with a fringed jacquard top and give it an urban-kid feel with a snakeskin backpack and clunky sandals. Soften the look with a straw wide brimmed hat and try not to get too sucked into the needle-point booth this time.

what-to-wear-to-a-book-swap-party
Even though books are like old friends, a couple could have been befriended in error. Gather up all the books you feel iffy about on your bookshelf and head down to the monthly book swap, where you can trade your barely-touched reads for some old classics or new hits. Look fun perusing the mismatched boxes full of titles by playing with your prints and patterns. Stripes and florals are always a classic mix, but add your own twist to it by adding texture. Take your suede vintage cape and pair it with a striped wrap skirt in a soft color, letting it add a pop of busy-ness to the look without overwhelming it. Then, to offset the bold pairing, choose a mauve handbag with classic lines and thick white sandals to anchor down the look.

what-to-wear-to-an-afternoon-teatime
Mix things up by skipping the usual two o'clock coffee run and instead do some high tea with friends! Sit on plush floral chairs and pick your way through a menu of sweet and savory scones. Sip tea with milk and honey and get a little greedy with the clotted cream and fruit jams- something that you won't mind seeing how you're wearing a stretch band waist skirt. Check you out, thinking ahead. Pair the tartan number with a white ribbon shirt, and then make the student-esque outfit a little more casual with a light jacket and faux leather sneakers.
