What's a Faux Pas?

By Pragyasharma57 @pragyasharma57
The dictionary defines the word as a social embarrasement or a mistake and it has further found its way in fashion terminology emphasizing a big fashion blunder. But according to me, its improper or rather I must say, I don't believe in any Fashion Faux Pas. I opine every one has their own sense of style and dressing. What may be high on fashion for some people might me a complete no-no for others. If we go that way, then we are actually dressing for them and not because we like it. We depend more on other person's reviews than our own perception which completely cancels out what defines your own personal style and the word 'personal' would rather seem ironic then :p
Earlier, I used to cringe if I find someone wearing badly styled clothes or something that's out of trend. But not anymore.I have realized each one of us has his/her own style statement and I am no one to get bothered by it.Now, you would say, when I can't even differentiate between good and bad styling, then what kind of a fashion blogger I am! Well, following the trends in mind is another thing and scared to wear something wondering if it screams blunder is entirely different. If you  find someone dressed all wrong top to bottom, you would exclaim but may be you are unaware of her situation. Maybe she dressed hurriedly, she loves that some accessory she can't part with, maybe she couldn't afford to buy shoes to match her dress or maybe she doesn't know anything about fashion and she dresses the way she likes. Then what's the big deal!! If you aren't following the trend or you wear something that was on runway 5 years back, no doubt, you'll still look awesome if you believe in what you wearing. I hope, I am able to put across my point well but if I am not, this quote summarizes it all :)
