What Beauty Products to Take on Holiday

Holiday beauty
I don't always talk too much about beauty care but really do take care of my skin and hair as best as I can. I particularly take extra care when I go on holiday because I'm always outdoors, and normally swimming or doing some sort of sporty activity in the bright sun. There are numerous holiday specific beauty products out there, but which should you chose to take away with you? Firstly, think about size. Don't go buying huge bottles or tubs of products, ideally go for smaller sizes so they don't take up too much space. Plus if you only have hand luggage you can only take products up to 100ml.  I have listed above all my must-have favorite products I take away with me, many of which do come in small sizes and double up on more than one job.
L'Oreal Magique BB Cream | I started using this L'Oreal BB Cream a few months ago and I cannot shout about it enough. I hate wearing foundation and try to avoid it as much as possible, so a good BB Cream is a must. I have, however always struggled to find a light one, and this checks that box.
Liz Earle Superbalm | This is a bit of a magical balm as it helps with numerous things, so it limits having too many products. This has many in one. It's great for those emergency fixes, good for dry and chapped skin, softens lips, hands, face, heels and elbows. You can even using it by messaging it into nails and cuticles. Honestly this is amazing stuff and when you are in heat, it helps stop your skin drying out. I put this in my beach bag and my handbag when we travel.
Kerastase Nutritive Masque Magistral Hair Mask | I never go away without some sort of hair mask. This Kerastase is my personal favourite, and instead of carting a full pot with me I just pop some into one of the travel sized bottles. Another option is to buy those sachets, but this Kerastase tub is the best of the best. Ideally pop some on when you're by the pool later on in the day then wash off in the shower, it really helps rehydrate your hair.
Ladival After Sun | This stuff is magical. I hadn't used it before until we went to Croatia and I had fallen asleep on the sun lounger on my front, when we got back to the hotel room to shower before dinner, my back was very very red. I hadn't burnt it, it was just super red. Nick popped it on my back, which is says it's DNA restoring. It's almost like a gel and is very refreshing, but doesn't sting either. My back the next day was back to normal color.
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream | If you really want to be careful in the sun, this is the stuff to keep you protected. SPF 50, so it is very intensive and the perfect moisturisers for daytime.
Clarins Hydra-Essentials | Keeps your skin hydrated as much as possible. Boosts radiance but protects from harmful UV rays. Whilst it isn't as intense as the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream, as it offers only SPF 15. I'd use this before bed as my night time rehydration moisturiser.
System Professional Solar Sun Oil | I've got through a few of the range from System Professional Solar. This works to soften the hair from that Monica Gellar holiday frizz! It keeps it looking nice and smooth, due to the keratin and the UV filters which prevent sun damage.
Kiehl's Olive Fruit Oil Nourishing Shampoo | Designed purely for dry and damaged hair. Salt water, heat and chlorine are all a terrible combination. Don't that on holiday the majority of use with pretty much wash our hair everyday, because we'll have either been in the swimming pool, sea swimming or just got sweaty. A rich nourishing, rehydrating and conditioning hair care routine is key to lush locks.
Thisworks Perfect Legs Skin Protector | If you travel a lot this is a fantastic addition to your handbag. This product contain Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E and C to help skin generation. It contains a slight tint when you spray it on to give you a nice natural glow, but more importantly it helps against sun damage.
Nivea Sun Protector SPF 30 | Suncream is great but throw in sand at the beach and you have more of an exfoliation than you'd considered. A spray is such an easy way to cover your skin. I'd always go for Nivea, because I have used numerous of their products and loved them.
Laura Mercier Radiance Primer | Your skin is going through a lot, and even though you should anyway, popping some primer on before you do your make up before an evening out, is really important. It helps protect your skin and make it look flawless for a holiday night out.
These are my must-have items I always take with me on holiday to keep my skin and hair on top form. As I said I tend to buy small versions or each, or buy travel bottles and empty some of the contents into those. Let me know what you always take and if you have any recommendations.
