Though raffled with various problems like piling pending cases, limited judges and Prime mover pressure - Indian Court's have always steered the course of nation and restored the values enshrined in Constitution.
This fourth week of August had witnessed few landmark judgments that has enabled India to take one more step towards, reposing Democracy in our Nation.
Invalidating Instant Triple Talaq, declaring it as unconstitutional and defining Right To Privacy as a fundamental right, Supreme Court has lived upto the Nation's expectation by restoring faith, ruling our arbitrary religious practice and empowering Muslim women.
So following its legendary path yet again Supreme Court Of India has taken a bold decision in Shayra Bano vs Union Of India case, on the argument of Triple Talaq which first arouse in 1985 in the case of Shah Bano on the debate of alimony.
The Court declared
Instant Talaq to be a "manifestly arbitrary" practice which cannot be shaded under Article 25 (freedom of religion) mentioned in The Constitution Of India. And stated that this whimsical practice violated the Right Of Equality (Article 14-18).

Not only this he has been criticized for mocking various Religious figures and hurting the sentiments.
In 2007 he estrange the Sikh community when he appeared as Guru Govind Singh (revered as Sikh Guru) in an advertisement . In 2015 he even antagonized the Hindu community by posing as Hindu God Vishnu in a video. A complained against him by a Hindu organization has been lodged for the same.
But none of his powershow can deviate Court judgment, that unbiased declared Ram Rahim convicted of rape charges.
And now the riots aroused by his followers after his conviction that has led to imposition of curfew in and around the state of Haryana.
This argument began in 2015 in the case challenging Aadhar Card Scheme- which was seen as a threat to Individual's privacy. This Thursday, Supreme Court took a ripple decision in favor of entrusting Right To Privacy as Fundamental Right of citizens. Judges unanimously declared the verdict by stating-
"privacy was intrinsic to one's life and liberty, and the government should "intrude" into it only for legitimate public & state reasons".
Though the judgment going to have a vicious effect on very own previous judgments of Supreme Court for various cases like-
Section 377 that criminalizes consensual sexual act among LGBT adults in private, Contacts with various social sharing platforms like Facebook & Whatsapp for sharing user's personal data.
