The visualization above is a result of 62,676 messages exchanged on Skype over a three-year time span.
Designers Julia Laub and Cedric Kiefe regularly spoke on Skype through calls and instant messages as they collaborated virtually. The project is an attempt to understand the conversational patterns that helped grow their relationship into three years of friendship.
