This weekend, two of my fave bloggerinas - Elissa of Style-Wire and Kara of The Bostonista - and I headed to the South End to shoot among the beautiful brownstones, cobblestone streets and fall foliage. After hitting up Appleton Cafe for the world's best blueberry bars, we popped into Ore for jewelry from four of Boston's best jewelry makers, including my fave, Sophie Hughes.
Transitional dressing is my favorite - I love throwing on cozy sweaters and chic boots, like the lace-up "Explorer" boots by Seychelles that I just scored from PB&J, a cute Cali boutique with an online shop. You know you're in good hands when a website has an entire section dedicated to Tulle Skirts....! They also have a great selection of urban-boho dresses, like this sick jersey-drape number in subtle camo by Rachael Pally and this beautiful black silk hippie dress by Stone Cold Fox.
I don't wear blue jeans too often, but when I do I try to dress it up with some leather accents, like this textured sweater from Zara with faux leather sleeves, and my new Erin Tote from Fossil in a rich, royal blue plays nice with hunter green, denim, and tan tones. Seriously...how great is this bag? It can be a clutch, crossbody, over the shoulder, or satchel, and comes in tons of colorways. Love it, and I love the black version with dalmatian accents that Style-Wire has.
