This week was really good. Same set up as usual. The teacher did a demonstration in the morning, and then we partnered up with different people this week and did the look on each other.
In the morning, we did a bronzed tan look. This was really fun to do. I always flick through magazines and see these bronzed beauties and think "how the hell do they look like that!" I always thought it was fake tan but no no my pretties, it's more than likely MAC'S Face & Body foundation. To paint the body, it's usually airbrushed, however, being on the beauty course, we just did each others faces.
I forgot to take pictures of how I looked after but here are the pictures of the make-up I did on my partner: Beautiful bronze and shimmery colours to create this look.
In the afternoon, we had the demonstration and our own time split up into sections. The look we did was Glamorous make-up and was really technical and fiddly so she split it up to help us, which was easier. This is the make-up my partner did on me. In my full face picture, I look Awful with a capital A so I'll just show you the eyes as this was the main part:
And this is the make-up I did on my partner. She had gorgeous skin so it was so easy to get her skin looking flawless. We also had gorgeous false lashes to put on. They felt really heavy! I've never worn fake lashes this big before, however, I still have them on at the moment because I like them so much haha.
Next Saturday is the last week and then on Sunday, we have an hour at a MAC shop where we can get items for our kit at 35% off!! I can not wait, what better way to spend my birthday!! The teacher advised me today that if I was serious, I should do The Definitive guide to make-up artistry course next, which is very expensive. So I've just sent them an email concerning payment plans. Fingers crossed that I can do it!
Had a brilliant day, as I keep saying, but upset it's going to end soon. I'm learning so much.
