Dip dye has been bloomin’ mahoosive for SS12, and us girlies at Republic have been loving the ombre look! Above, Kirsty is looking hot in Crafted dip dye shorts at Cocoon in the Park (wel jel!) and I’m rocking a pair of Crafted dip dye hotpants at Hideout in Croatia! Between us, I think we’ve got dip dye fun in the sun (or mud), well and truly covered!
Now I can’t wait to carry the dip dye trend into AW12 too. Here are some great transitional pieces if you are looking for all-season-ombre! Sheer maxi skirts have been super hot this year and this Crafted dip dye maxi skirt (below) looks great for any season!
Or how about a dip dye tshirt which can be worn with shorts in the heat or layered up for gloomy days – of which we have many might I add. I love the Soul Cal Deluxe Hazy Camera Tshirt and very much in love with the Tassel Dip Dyed Beach Top too!
I hope dip dye lives on for the rest of 2012…..would be sad to see this trend go!
