We Can Both Be Found

The Body Shop Seaweed Ionic Clay MaskYes, another 'beauty' post, but I figured Sunday's are for pampering, and what better way than with a face mask! I picked up this face mask at a Body Shop party hosted by the lovely Lisa last month as my current face mask (Soap and Glory No Clogs Allowed) was on its way out. I liked No Clogs Allowed as it was self heating so felt like it was really cleaning out your pores, but often left my skin feeling a bit sensitive after. The Body Shop's Ionic Clay Mask is perfect for combination or oily skin as it claims to draw out impurities and control excess oil - leaving your skin feeling refreshed and squeaky clean. It definitely lives up to these claims - after using it my skin feels and looks cleaner and almost more 'pure', without leaving my skin feeling dry or tight. I apply this mask using a foundation brush on my t-zone and cheeks, avoiding the skin around the eyes as when this mask starts to dry it can pull thin skin. After ten minutes I remove using a hot flannel and my skin in left glowing and looking super clean. Would I recommend this? Most definitely - at £12 is it a fairly good price for the amount you need to use, a little goes a long way!
