I've had an obsession with shirts that have sayings on them for quite some time now. I'm pretty sure this obsession dates all the way back to when I was in Jr. High and Juicy made the "Dump Him" shirt. Not only are they funny, interesting, and thought provoking, but they are constantly starting interactions and conversations with people. It's the same concept as wearing teams shirts, sweatshirts, etc. I can't tell you how many times I've been across the US or in Mexico and a conversation has started from me wearing my Bulls, Bears or Blackhawks apparel. (Sorry Cubs, I'm done with you) Just from the shirt starts the whole "oh you're from Chicago?"
Anyways, when I saw this shirt at Nordstroms, it got me thinking. I mean I know it's a simple sentence but how true is that? Every single person in your life has started out as a stranger. The first time you met your mom and dad in the hospital, you guys started out as strangers. Every friend, every boyfriend, every coworker, your dog, etc. started off as a stranger. Kind of a crazy concept. Anyways, hopefully this will be some food for thought for you today, and if not I'm sorry for wasting 90 seconds of your life. Either way, click here if you want this shirt!
