Wayne Goss is a YouTube make-up legend. He makes even the most complex make-up applications simple and easy for any one at any level to follow. Most of his videos are around two minutes long but he does have a load of longer video tutorials and reviews.
This blog post isn’t really about his YouTube videos though, It’s about his brand new set of eight make-up brushes that (fingers crossed) I’ll be able to get my hands on when they’re released in the UK in September 2013!!
The brushes included are multi-functional so there are no definitive names for each of them only numbers that I’d assume will correspond to a list of uses included when you purchase the brushes. There are no square tipped brushes, they’re all pointed or tapered so they can be used for the eyes or the face. The exception to this is the chunky white haired brush that supposedly can ‘make pores completely disappear’ with it’s angled edge that’d be great for different types of foundations.
So far, there’s been nothing said about the price of the brushes but I’d assume, as they’re hand made in Japan by artisans they wont be your bog standard drugstore brush kinda price.
I’m really looking forward to these brushes being released because Wayne just seems like one of those people who really cares about the product he’s putting out there for us. He’s invested his own money into having them made and took part in the design process through each and every step. I don’t even own them yet but I’m grateful for him putting in so much time and effort! – I’ll be sure to blog about the brushes as soon as I get mine so I can tell you guys how great they are. (I can’t imagine them being anything less than perfect).
