Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has warned that a huge wave of terrorism could hit Karachi next month, however, he said Taliban are not involved in it.
While speaking to media here in Islamabad on Monday, Rehman Malik directed the provincial government and intelligence agencies to utilize all their potential to forestall the looming threat of terrorism in the city of 20 million.
The interior minister said some banned outfits and foreign hand are involved in deteriorating the Karachi situation but not Taliban.
Malik said to make an inclusive strategy on the situation of financial hub of the country; he will soon summon a high-level meeting of law enforcement agencies and intelligence agencies.
