I haven't been able to watch Frozen, and I'm kind of bummed about it because people say it's the best Disney animated musical yet. So there's absolutely no way I'm going to miss watching "Walking with Dinosaurs"  in 3D! I don't know how historically accurate this movie will be, since Hollywood has been making a fool out of the audience for centuries! (The absurd 10,000 B.C. film comes to mind, but of course there are scores others.)

Setting: Prehistoric Alaska (before the Tyrannosaurus Rex). The movie claims to show how dinosaurs actually looked like and lived (with obvious creative license), and includes the typical formulaic family movie plot involving a runt of the litter (in this case a Pachyrhinosaurus called--surprise!--Patchi). Since the film blends live action footage and CGI, I still can't wait to watch this movie!

I wonder how many dinosaurs kids will get to identify in the movie. I'm fairly sure the more famous ones include the Albertosaurus, Allosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Apatosaurus, Baryonyx, Brachiosaurus, Camarasaurus, Carnotaurus, Coelophysis, Compsognathus, Corythosaurus, Deinonychus, Diplodocus, Edmontosaurus, Euoplocephalus, Gallimimus, Gigantosaurus, Giraffatitan, Hypsilophodon, Iguanodon, Lesothosaurus, Macrurosaurus, Maiasaura, Mamenchisaurus, Megalosaurus, Notoceratops, Ornithomimus, Oviraptor, Pachycephalosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Plateosaurus, Protoceratops, Psittacosaurus, Riojasaurus, Saurolophus, Saurophaganax, Seismosaurus, Spinosaurus, Stegosaurus, Styracosaurus, Triceratops, and Velociraptor. I'm just not sure about my dino history.
