We told you earlier this week that Michelle Obama would be on the Ellen Show today (Thursday) to help the comedian celebrate her 60th birthday.

Michelle Obama talked with Ellen about the Obama’s life in their new home, even revealing that President Barack Obama, like most men don’t like the fact that he doesn’t have enough closet space.

“He doesn’t have enough closet space — sorry. He’s got the smallest room for his office,” she revealed. “And Sasha actually killed in this house — she has this two-room suite, it’s all decked out. She’s got a living room area and bedroom. She designed it. So he’s really hating on her.”

The Obama’s stayed in D.C. so that Sasha could finish High School at Sidwell Friends, and their new home is down the street from The White House, but it doesn’t make  Mrs. Obama feel any kind of way.

“The thing I learned in those eight years is that home is where we make,” she explained. “We were in the White House for eight years, but it wasn’t the house — it was us in it. Our values and our love for each other. We just moved that to another house. ”

Mrs. O then gave us some advice on how we can deal with the current political climate.
