Former Pakistan skipper Wasim Akram set to tie the knot with Bollywood actress and former miss Universe Sushmita Sen, an Indian website claimed.
The website said that the lovebirds, who were rumored to be seeing each other for a couple of years, could marry later this year. However, there is no official confirmation of the report from both sides.
Wasim, who is the coach of IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders, and Sushmita first met in on the sets of dance reality show Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena, which the couple judged in 2008.
Sushmita, who associated with series of men like actor Randeep Hooda , Vikram Bhatt, and Mudassar Aziz and whose marriage rumors surfaced many times, recently confirmed that she is going to walk down the aisle soon.
“Yes, I do plan to get married next year. I think it is time. Ab Bahut wait karva liya sabko,” she said last year. “I am taking my time to say yes, but once I say I do, it will be for keeps as I firmly believe in the institution of marriage.”
