The VoIP app Viber has just released a beautifully designed new app for Windows 8 users allowing them to easily make calls right from their desktop. The Viber app for Windows 8 if far more versatile and easy to use than its’ previously released app for PC and Mac. Viber now appears to be a worthy rival for Microsoft-owned Skype calling app.

New Viber app for Windows 8 has a user-friendly interface with Windows 8′s metro style tiles. It also “syncs your contacts, messages and call history with your mobile device, so you can transfer calls seamlessly between your devices.” With the addition of this latest app, Viber has become available on across many platforms including Windows 8, Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac, Blackberry, and Windows Phone.
