Veet Ready to Use Wax Strips Review

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to review Veet's Ready to Use Wax Strips for sensitive skin. The box contains 40 wax strips, but each strip is peeled into 2 therefore a total of 80 4inch wax strips. This can cover both full legs. One box costs $12 and can be found at any drugstore, Wal-Mart, Target, pretty much everywhere!

How to use:

The directions in the box are super helpful but I will go over exactly how I used them.
-You definitely want to test out a spot on your leg before going ahead and waxing everywhere just to give it a feel and see if your skin reacts. Exfoliate the night before and then test out a stripe in the morning.
If there is no reaction within a couple days, I would go ahead and wax the rest of your legs. Again, make sure to exfoliate to remove any dead skin and to avoid ingrown hairs.
-Make sure your hair is the right length, these strips work on shorter hair (1.5mm).
-Place one strip between both hands and then rub them together to warm up the wax.

-After about 30 seconds, peel each strip from each other. Place both strips on the leg, then rub the wax strips in the direction towards your feet. Once that's done, take a deep breath and pull the strip up towards your knee. Don't worry, it really doesn't hurt on your leg. Slight tingle but honestly it's not bad.

-Use the Perfect Finishing Wipes to remove any excess wax still left on your leg (this comes in the box).
-Once you've waxed an area, place a cold cloth on the leg. This will help reduce any "burning" feeling. Honestly I didn't even feel a slight burn until after maybe about 3 minutes after removing the cold cloth. Even then it was very minimal.
It took about an hour to wax both full legs.

Pro:

I have fairly sensitive skin, and had no problems with these strips, no redness, no ingrown hairs etc. Again, everyones different so make sure to test it out on your skin before waxing a whole area.

Con:

I was disappointed however that they only lasted about week and a half before I started to see some hair starting to grow. This is better than shaving of course but other types of wax can leave your legs hair free for up to 4 weeks.

Overall, I am happy with these wax strips, they are definitely great for wax beginners! Since they don't last as long as regular waxing you may want to skip this product but overall good product.

Have you tried this product? What's your thoughts?
