Valentine’s Day Gifts for Your Little Valentines

By Thepracticalmommy2 @PracticalMommy2
February is upon us, and after we are finished with Groundhog Day, we'll be facing Valentine's Day: you know, the only day some males actually think out of the box to buy a box full of chocolates to say "I love you". Yeah, that day.
For a moment let's step away from all that romance stuff (you remember that? Romance? That thing that used to happen between you and your significant other prior to kids??) and think of the cute and cuddly: our kids.
Do you get your kids gifts for Valentine's Day? What do you get them? Chocolates? Candy hearts (be careful! Remember the incident with the adult candy hearts? YIKES!)? A cute handmade Valentine's Day card?
All super ideas, but have you considered giving them a book? Yeah, I know. You may think that's boring, but how about a book that tells your child how much you love him or her? Give the gift of reading, most importantly the love of reading. How can you go wrong with that?
