Usher and wife Grace Miguel celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary earlier this week, with Usher surprising his wife with a soul cycle class, and Grace posting a heartfelt message to her husband.
Grace posted the following message on her Instagram page:
“I will spend an eternity loving you, caring for you, respecting you, showing you every day that I hold you as high as the stars.”
Usher and Grace began dating in 2009, they announced their engagement in 2015, but there was no word on their marriage until the singer revealed the news on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “Congratulations to you – he got married!” DeGeneres said of his wedding, to which he confirmed:
“Thank you! It was really great.”
“You know what’s funny? We put this picture up and we were actually just in Cuba on a cultural exchange and people were like, ‘Hey, they got married.’ But you know, the ring is on the other finger, you guys. But we had a great time. [Grace is a] wonderful woman,” he explained.
