Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

By Natalieroseanne @clutzyprincess
In my birthday trade with Sara from The Beautiful World of Lenny B I was so lucky to get the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette. I actually think it is a perfect little palette to have in your collection for simple day looks for more out there night time looks. It is really compact and has all the natural shades you could hope to have. I've found it is such a beautiful day palette as all the shades except for 1 are matte, and so give you such a natural finish. photo DSCF8172_zps38b526ae.jpg photo DSCF8174_zps9db03cff.jpg photo DSCF8176_zps65e9b5c8.jpg photo DSCF8177_zps36c8770f.jpgThe palette itself is small, and compact, fitting in your hand. It has a good sized mirror to use when on the go.It has 6 gorgeous natural shades in it, with 5 matte and 1 shimmer. They go from a light shimmer champagne shade, to a light beige shade, slightly more of a peach tone, then a taupe colour, a brown and final a dark matte black. All the shades are nicely pigmented, although Foxy and W.O.S are extremely hard to see on my swatches because I'm so pale and they are pale shades. I think W.O.S matches my skin tone very similarly ;). Overall, I really think it is a perfect everyday palette and I will definitely be taking it to Greece with me as it is definitely travel friendly!Urban Decay is definitely my favorite higher end brand for eye shadows, and there is definitely something for everyone out there!
