United Methodist Pastor “blesses” Cleveland Abortion Clinics

By Eowyn @DrEowyn

The Oxford Dictionary defines the verb “bless” as “to confer or invoke divine favor upon; ask God to look favorably on.”

I don’t know what divinity or god “Reverend” Laura Young invokes when she “blesses” abortion clinics, but it sure isn’t our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sarah Zagorski reports for Life News, Oct. 12, 2015, that United Methodist Church pastor Reverend Laura Young accuses pro-lifers who object to Planned Parenthood and other abortion facilities of “misguided faith.” Young believes abortion clinics should be blessed, which is why, on Oct. 8, 2015, she “blessed” the Preterm abortion clinic in Cleveland, Ohio — the same abortion facility that was involved in the abortion-related death of Lakisha Wilson.

Young’s twisted thinking is that “Christianity, like most faiths, is founded on love. Watching protesters shouting judgment and hate based on what they call religion is horrible. Is that loving God? Is that loving your neighbor as yourself?”

Young, a “progressive theological thinker and a feminist,” also accuses religious groups of fueling the so-called war on women. She says, “Women are being attacked at a moral level by the radical Religious Right. They’ve hijacked the political discussion. This event is an opportunity for progressive religious leaders to stop the silence. We need to be in the conversation.”

Young has plans to bless other abortion facilities in the state.

United Methodist bishop Gregory Palmer
Bishop of the United Methodist Church Gregory Palmer appointed Young to be the executive director of the Ohio Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice. The coalition runs an “all-options” counseling hotline for women facing crisis pregnancies. Young said, “It breaks my heart to know women are sitting in pews across the country feeling shamed, believing that they’re cursed for making this decision. That’s a question I get a lot on the phone, ‘Am I going to hell?’ When God instead is there to support women through it all.”

God is there to support women through their abortions murders?

Only if your “god” is Satan.
