Underwater Sculptures by Jason deCaires Taylor

I know, this post is not about abstract art. But what about the human emotions these Jason deCaires Taylor modern sculptures provoke?. Aren´t they similar to the ones that only good abstract artworks fuel?. What happens when you watch a Rothko or a Pollock abstract painting? Come on!!.

This is the main reason I decided to reblog this article. The vision of thiscontemporary sculptures, brings to the light many different emotions. What you see is not only sculpture, it´s more than that. There´s color, there´s light and darkness (imagin them at night), there´s water all around, there´s mistery, there´s people submerged. You see them and questions arise.

So, what emotions do you feel while watching them?. Tranquility, desperation, wellness, peace, anxiete, distress .... I invite you to add them in the comment section below.

Thks and enjoy.
