We would like to share that we recently faced a hacking attack on our servers and more than 64 backdoor files were uploaded through exploit scripts by using vulnerabilities present in our website code scripts. So, we started on our own and scanned all the server files/data ( more than 22k files approx.) with the help of exploit scanners and other security software’s/applications and came up with the bad news of having some serious threats like backdoor files and other exploits. Thankfully we got help from our friends in blogosphere and we managed to remove all the exploit files and clean up our hosting servers. We were lucky to have such friends around but not everyone can get such help in these scenarios.
