Ugly Beautiful Change

By the end of this year I have completely ran myself ragged with strivings and depression. In self hate I have not nourished or cared for my body resulting in some weird physical illnesses. In the stress of the moment I have neglected faith and tried to fill the empty hole within me with control. Resulting in some negative traits:

 

  • anorexia
  • anxiety/fear
  • insomnia
  • rage
  • complaining
  • isolation
  • self sabotage
  • hate
  • pride
  • jealousy

This new year as I search for peace of mind, I relinquish control and dive into the unknowns wonders of believing in something bigger than me. To learn that I don’t have to strive to do everything in my own will and trust that all the little broken pieces of me will find their way back home.

  • Pray more
  • Slow down and embrace the beauty of every moment
  • Speak less, listen more
  • Learn something
  • Dance more
  • Play more
  • Travel more
  • Smile more
  • Dare to let loose and be silly
  • Get more fresh air
  • Take more pictures
  • Smell the flowers
  • Let go of unhealthy relationships
  • Accept others and myself unconditionally
  • Learn to love
