Now this is the beginning of 2013 and as one of major announcement ubuntu unveils its mobile platform today. Though there is not much information about the phone to be launched but platform is announced.

Its look uber cool and in the video Mark Shuttleworth preview some super cool features too. As per the first appearance it look like a major competition to iOS and android. However, how Ubuntu manages its app market will also play a vital role in future of this OS. There is already a huge and quality app market available for iOS and android and beating them will be a tedious task.
