Tweezerman

Tweezerman have such an amazing reputation for being the tweezer brand of choice, and with a price tag to match some high demand. Are they worth it though?

Absolutely! The difference between these tweezers and standard ones is instantly noticeable. Firstly, when you grip a hair and pull the hair it comes out first time; there’s no pulling repetitively on the same hair until it comes out because the Tweezerman tweezers grip so well. As such when you pull the hair out you get a quick and clean pluck with minimal effort. Other tweezers I’ve tried have broken the hair because the grip is bad meaning that I’ve had to go back to the same hair several times to pull it out, pulling over and over until it relents. You just don’t get this with the Tweeerman tweezers which is what sets them apart.

There’s quite a range of tweezers to choose from too, but I chose the mini slant tweeers as a handbag accessory – after all you never know when you might need to use them. The slant makes pulling hairs out more comfortable as it aligns with the contours of your skin. It also allows for more precise plucking which is exactly what you want on those delicate eye areas.

What makes these tweezers even better is that they are small, ergonomic and coated so you’re not left with that horrid metallic smell on your hands. They also come in a range of colours, and even in their very own clear cylinder tube to protect them. It’s no wonder that so many people are ranting and raving about them, but the best thing is that these tweezers are going to last you a very long time because you can get them sharpened for free by sending them back to Tweezerman. So even though these tweezers set me back £12.50 they’re going to last much longer than several pairs of cheap tweezers. I don’t see myself ever going back to the cheap tweezers, and I would recommend these to anyone. My mom also keeps on asking to use my ‘good tweezers’ too instead of hers and she’s super fussy!
