Today I'll be showing you a simple tutorial on how to apply stick concealers, which can be a little tricky to blend sometimes because of the dry texture. This post is features general step by step tutorial for applying stick concealers. I hope you find this tutorial useful! Its really important to apply the concealer the correctly, otherwise it appears patchy which looks worse. Some concealers works best when blended with fingers or a damp brush.
This tutorial features 4 step which are very important when concealing under eye area ~ moisturizing, color correction, concealing and setting powder (either loose or pressed).

I have used Lakme Absolute White Intense Concealer Stick SPF 20 in 05 Honey for this tutorial.
How to cover dark circles using Stick Concealer
- Step 1-2-3 : Moisturize the under eye area with an under eye cream! It would help in streak free blending of concealer properly and prevent it from getting patchy. I have used Lakme Youth Infinity Eye Cream. Use your ring finger with least pressure to massage the cream completely into the skin. Cover the entire eye area including eye lid.
- Step 4 : Once the cream is absorbed fully, apply the orange color corrector from Kryolan (D30) as shown to camouflage the dark circles that are generally blue in color.
How to cover dark circles using Stick Concealer
- Step 5-6-7 : Once the color corrector sets completely, apply the concealer first in the most pigmented areas using small dots. Blend using the fingers with least pressure and make sure to use light dabbing strokes instead of harsh rubbing. Fingers are the best tool to blend the concealers, as it warms up the product and helps it blend better.
- Step 8 : After the pigmentation has been covered completely, set the concealer with powder (Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder) using a fluffy eye brush.The Powder will prevent the concealer from creasing and would keep the dryness at bay.
To complete the look, I have groomed my brows (Rimmel eyebrow pencil Black/Brown), curled my lashes (Colorbar eye-lash curler) and applied 2 coats of Maybelline Falsies Mascara.
