Tryng Out New Lipsticks: L'Oreal Edition

By Hollysbeautybox @hollysbeautybox
I am a creature of habit. We all do it, we find what we love and we rarely venture away from it, but seeing as I am experimenting with different eyeshadows and more colour, I thought I would start trying out new lipsticks.
Tryng Out New Lipsticks: L'Oreal Edition I always tend to stick to brown toned nudes and deep reds and while I still love my reds (check out the end one. Woaahhh!) I figured it was time to experiment with more pink tones.
All of the lipsticks are from L'Oreal and are different textures. The first one - color riche 640 Erotique and the second one - "Eva's Delicate Rose" are both very but Eva's Delicate Rose is a touch more pink than the other one. I like both shades and both are out of my comfort zone a little bit but definitely are subtle enough to try out.
Next up is the Color Riche 132 "Magnolia Irreverent" which is a blue toned fuschia pink. This kind of shade scares me a bit I can't deny. It reminds me of a Barbie doll and I always feel like anything I wear will clash with this color but thankfully, I was wrong. I actually liked this and worn with a monochrome outfit, this didn't clash. I'm glad I tried this but will definitely have to take baby steps if I'm going to use this more often.
Up next is "Helen's Delicate Rose". Where do I even start? this reminds me of a sort of 60's throwback and of when I was a teenager and the girls were all wearing Collection 2000 pale pink lip gloss. Despite that, I knew I had to try it out. This doesn't go on the lips quite as pale as it shows in the pan - THANK GOODNESS! It goes on pale but not hugely pigmented. It lasted pretty well but this is not really a shade I can get on board with. If you fancied having a reaaaally pale lip, you could always put a primer on or a coat of foundation. If you're that brave, I salute you! I think this would work well on dark skin tones rather than light.
Finally is something right up my street. The Color Riche 364 16 Place Vendome is a raspberry red. It does have a slight pink note to it but is definitely more red than pink. I could wear this all day e'rry day. I will be adding this to my red collection thank you veeeery much.
What colours do you tend to stick to?
