Today I'm reviewing the TRESemmé Split Remedy Shampoo and Conditioner which is my current favorite.

What I like about the TRESemmé Split Remedy Duo ~
- Packaging & Scent : The black (shampoo) and white (conditioner) packaging is really catchy. The silver and turquoise embossement looks quite attractive and chic. I also like the faint fruity scent which is a tad artificial but I like it nonetheless. The scent lingers on the hair till the next day, I love nice smelling hair! The opening has to be pressed for the nozzle to come up (flip cap).
- Consistency : The shampoo is runny compared to the conditioner and you don't end up using a huge dollop of product on your palms when you squeeze it out. Shampoo is tad sheer white with presence of subtle shimmers and conditioner is clear white in color.
- The shampoo is light-weight, lathers and cleanses well. I was avoiding going to salons as I wanted to test, how this range fairs with my split ends. It does rescued my split ends (as it claimed) and repairs after just 5-6 washes. It squeaky cleans and makes my hair soft and manageable.
- The conditioner is not too heavy yet seems to work decently well – eases out the dryness/frizz and adds extra softness to the hair with a slight shine to the hair. I have pretty dry hair and I feel this gives a decent dose of hydration to my hair.
- When used together for a long time, the shampoo and conditioner do repair split ends and makes it smooth and manageable. To control the frizziness, you just need 2-3 drips of serum.
- The product (215 ml) would last very long (2 months), as you'll need just a dollop of shampoo and conditioner for shoulder-length hair if you wash hair thrice a week.

What I don't like about the TRESemmé Split Remedy Duo ~- Its not SLS or silicon-free.
The TRESemmé Split Remedy Shampoo + Conditioner does rescued my hair from split ends and makes them smooth and manageable. I love that the products last a long time but my hair just feel healthier (less hair fall and split ends). If you have damaged and split ends, you could give this a try as it really does repairs out the hair. Priced at Rs 349 for 600 ml, Rs 170 for 215 ml and Rs 80 for 90 ml.
