After a morning spent in Bath, it was time to head to Stourhead Gardens. This beautiful and historic land is featured in the 2005 adaption of Pride and Prejudice, and visiting it really rounded out our unofficial Jane Austen day. The home itself is beautiful, with a library that felt like I had stepped into Beauty and the Beast. But the gardens, that's where this historic property really shines.
You could spend an entire day exploring the Stourhead Gardens, and still you would feel like there were pieces you missed. The grottos and small houses were some of my favorite parts, but of course, the Temple of Apollo (which is the iconic building you see in the photo above) was the biggest highlight of all.

After an hour or two of exploring, it was time to move on to the next destination... Stonehenge!
