Travel Guide: Anawangin Cove

By Kirkanatomy
Anawangin Cove is a crescent shaped cove with a pristine long white beach.  It is located in San Antonio, Zambales. The primary distinction of the cove is the towering pine trees flourishing around the vicinity. The boat man told us that the place were used to be rocky up until Mt. Pinatubo’s major eruption decades ago deserted a huge amount of volcanic ashes and followed by the growth of enormous number of pine trees all over the area which contributed in the rich foliage. The cove is paradise to a number of bird species.
