Transformers (Dark of the Moon) is set for November 28th 2011 DVD release here in the UK. Isn't this one of the tastiest trailers for a film this year, don't you just love that insistent (dawn raid door hammering) score running all through it? Audio-visual poetry, I say.

In fact, can't we attribute GLOBAL FINANCIAL DISASTER to all these alien invasion movies (sic)? In the light of the IMF's suggestion that we're now headed into 'global meltdown' are we supposed ot rely on these blatant visual resources as a classic MK Ultra metaphor for how MANKIND IS POWERLESS.
"From here, the fight will be your own," suggests the movie's metal hero. Metal hero i.e. a future where Silver is $400.00 per ounce, Gold is $10,000 per ounce?
Or are we a whole lot stronger than that petty metal warfare, as a global race of seven billion individuals?
