Toy Tuesday: Non-Toxic Teethers

By Peaceloveorganicmom
My little girl has just started teething and as a result puts everything she can find straight into her mouth. For this reason it is very important to me to have only non-toxic toys for her to teethe on.
I prefer wooden toys whenever possible and love the Sugarbooger Wooden Ladybug Rattle. It is made of smooth beechwood and even has a little bell in it to stimulate baby. It is finished with natural beeswax and painted with water-based inks. It is perfect for little hands to grasp and fits perfect in baby's mouth to soothe gums.

Another toy that is perfect for teething babies is Sophie the Giraffe. Don't let the price (usually about $20) deter you from buying this....It is well worth it! Vulli's Sophie the Giraffe is made of 100% natural rubber and food grade paints. It's various parts provide hours of entertainment for baby to teethe and explore. It also has a little squeaking tummy which makes my daughter giggle each times she presses it.

The last toy/teether I have discovered is the Dress Me Up Organic Teething Bonbon. This soft bonbon is made form certified organic cotton and naturally antibacterial wool. The ends of it can be dipped in water and placed in the freezer to help ease baby's sore gums. While the ends stay cool in baby's mouth, his/her hands can still stay warm in the center of the bonbon.More Info &  Purchase Here:
