The city of Srinagar is located in the northernmost state of India i.e. Jammu Kashmir.

Sonamarg- this place towers at an elevation of 3000 meters above sea level and is great place to visit in Srinagar. The name Sonamarg literally translates into “meadow of gold” and is a must visit when in Srinagar. The backdrop of snowcapped mountains against an azure sky is something to be marveled upon.
