Top Ten Tuesday: 2013 YA DebutsTop Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where you post the 'top ten' for each week.
This week, the top ten is: top ten young adult debuts for 2013! Here's a few of the new authors we will be introduced to in the upcoming year!
  1. Taken by Erin Bowman. This book has a gorgeous cover, there's no doubt about that. It's the thing that keeps drawing me to it, but the more and more that I read the synopsis I get more excited for it!
  2. Mila 2.0 by Debra Driza. I WANT THIS ONE SO BADLY. This debut looks AMAZING. I've been curious about artificial intelligence for a while, and the fact that this is about it blows my mind.
  3. Prophecy by Ellen Oh. Reminds me a bit of Graceling, which I LOVED! I so can't wait for this one!
  4. Level 2 by Lenore Appelhans. This is like the book I've been pining for, for a very very long time! There's no words to describe my feelings for this book!
  5. Altered by Jennifer Rush. I love books about genetically engineered humans! The plot for this one seems really good!
  6. Uses For Boys by Erica Lorraine Scheidt. I've heard all over reviews for this book. Some AMAZING reviews and some TERRIBLE reviews. I think people expect a happy book by the cover, but the summary proves it's not. I think I'm ready for something like this.
  7. Let The Sky Fall by Shannon Messenger. So Shannon may have another book out, but it's middle grade, so I'm considering this a debut for the YA genre. Yeah, I've manipulated the system, but that means this book seems pretty awesome for me to do that!
  8. Dance of Shadows by Yelena Black. I've always loved books about dancing, because it's something I've always wanted to do but was never good enough at. I like how it will have a paranormal/supernatural twist later on though!
  9. The Madman's Daughter by Megan Shepherd. I've never read the story of the Island of Dr. Moreau, but this one seems really good! I've heard lots of great things about it, and the synopsis sounds super!
  10. Dualed by Elise Chapman. OH GOSH. The whole idea of this book looks wonderful. I've never heard anything like this one!
