Now, I never got the Topshop hype. The sizing always seemed off, all of its items seemed overpriced and whenever I went in there I never seemed to find anything I liked, let alone loved enough to buy. I also didn’t like the way it was everyone’s favourite shop – let’s have some originality people?! But recently, the highstreet giant has begun to win me over, and today it was confirmed – I officially <3 Topshop.
Popped into my local one this morning and literally wanted to buy everything in there. I don’t know if I’ve changed or it has but either way I am not complaining. In the end, I only bought one item, as I was being very strict with myself. I did however try on several beautiful pieces I am definitely going to bookmark on the website and save for payday.
So here’s my new dress in all it glory!

It’s the Lace Strappy Dress in white (obvs!) priced at £36. It is also available in a bright red for those of you interested.
I think this dress is absolutely stunning! I’ve been lusting after the perfect white dress for ages as I don’t think anything epitiomises summer better. There’s also something quite sexy about a bronzed beauty in all white and I’m determined this will be me when the rays eventually reach us.
The pretty lace detailing on the top, the sheer panel, the cute hook-eye detailing on the back – ah this dress is just too amazing! BBQ’s, parties, the beach, summer holiday, picnics, there simply isn’t any situation I can think of where this dress wouldn’t work.
Now I just need to find the perfect sun hat to accompany it. I’m thinking a big floppy one with a pretty sash. I’ll also definitely wear it with massive sunnies and pretty sandals but will probably avoid adding too many accessories as I don’t want to distract from its beauty.
Topshop also had some other lovely white summer dresses which are also worth mentioning (definitely check out the website), but for me this was THE ONE. You just know when you’ve found it – I didn’t even hesitate for a second.
Now, all I’ve got to do is wait for some sun so I can actually do this baby justice.
