Top 5 Best Dressed- Grazia Young Fashion Awards 2015

By Januarycusp

The much talked about Fashion Awards were held last night at The Leela, Mumbai and I just to come up with my List of top 5, especially once I saw Shraddha Kapoor's outfit. I may not like her acting, but her sartorial choices are absolutely adorable. Even though she doesn't experiment much, I think she nails a pretty-lovely vibe with all her outfits.

Look at that sparkly minidress. I can think of ten other people who would definitely look tacky in this outfit, but she looks really charming. Complete with her blue-smokey eyes & shiny, sleek hair- I love how she dressed for the red carpet. And those strappy sandals and tiny satchel totally complement the outfit, which is always a good thing.

If you notice Richa's choices, she has been trying a lot of different silhouettes and styles lately. Every time I see her, she's trying something different & this one is doesn't disappoint either. The unexpected boatneck-like neckline and the slit lend an element of surprise, and she just looks lovely here! Doesn't she? Her shoe-game is so on point and oh, and that sleek hair is pure <3.

It would be unfair if the style-lady didn't turn up flawless herself & Pernia Qureshi definitely delivered on the red carpet. I mean, I cannot imagine an outfit as simple as that, look that striking just because of the styling. It's practically a simple, white dress- turned into a statement with her soft waves, neutral makeup and pointy pumps! No wonder she's revered everywhere for her impeccable styling sense. (Also, like I'd said before, I'm really going to make a list of outfits under 20K, from pernia's pop-up shop. That's going to be such an exciting search and will be uploaded very soon, I promise! )

More than her outfit, her shoes made this one of my favourites! Just look at those suede, fringe booties! ^^' Her Sheath dress might seem simple, but it still makes an impact, especially when paired with that 'pouffy' hairstyle and those 'barbie-pink' lips!

5. Tanisha Mukherjee [In Hema Kaul]

I would have NEVER thought that I would ever choose Tanisha for my List, because let's face it-her outfits are more like disasters. Even here, I cannot believe she chose those 'bulky' shoes for this look, and that 'bright blue' nail-paint! But keeping that aside, she's channelling this 'princess' vibe very well, complete with those exquisite curls and soft makeup. Thank God she didn't wear unnecessary jewellery either. So yea, she did quite alright this time.

Also, just for your discretion- here's what Priyanka Chopra wore. Now, a lot of you might like this look, but personally, I felt it didn't go all that well at Grazia Young Fashion Awards. Perhaps for some other Event, this might have worked. :|

Oh, oh before I forget, do you know who won the Award for The Best Urban Wear? It was Quirk Box, which makes me soo excited for I have loved their designs ever since they started. Like even when they didn't do all these fashion weeks & all, some of their jackets were really offbeat. And look at them now, and me, doing a little jig! :P

Anyhow, that's all for today It seems like such a looong day to me, and I just CAN-NOT wait for the weekend. Anybody else feeling this way? I'm always, always, always like this on Thursdays- like aaaaa..weekend! Come soon, come sooon!

Although then again, it's not like I do much on weekends, except for catching up on my sleep. Hehe. =^-^=

Love,

Surabhi
