With the year coming to a close here are my favorite songs of 2014:

  1. I’m I Wrong- Nico & Vinz

While the song might not make sense to some people I think it has a nice beat to it and it was one of my favorite songs to listen to this summer.

  1. Chandelier- Sia

I have to admit that when I first listened to this song I couldn’t understand what she was saying. But with time (and I guess some radio brainwashing) I kind of dig it.

  1. Thinking Out Loud- Ed Sheeran

I was torn between picking 3 of his songs (Sing and Don’t included). This song in particular was a nice change of pace from his usual songs and I am sucker for a good ballad.

  1. Rather Be- Clean Bandit featuring Jess Glynne

Another upbeat song that I enjoyed this year.

  1. I’m Not the Only One- Sam Smith

This soulful and jazzy song is one of the best from Smith’s album.

  1. Blank Spaces- Taylor Swift

It almost pains me to add this to the list. Not sure if it’s the constant radio play or the simply the lyrics but Swift’s latest hit lands on my Top 10 list.

  1. Blame (featuring John Newman)- Calvin Harris

The lyrics of this song are catchy.

  1. Rude- Magic

I think this was the song of the summer.

  1. Stay With Me- Sam Smith

This was my favorite song of the year, that is until I first heard the next song on my list. Nevertheless, Sam Smith still became my favorite new artist of 2014.

  1. Take Me to Church-Hozier

I became instantly mesmerized upon first listening to this song. I’m addicted to this song as well as Work Song from the same artist.

What song(s) did I get wrong or I’m I missing?
